Thursday 29th - Update

We watered all the seeds and seedlings in the polytunnel.

We prepared the beds for potatoes (earliest and main crop) and for the onions. Then we planted the seed potatoes and the onion sets. Next, we covered them with fleece to keep them warm and stop the birds feasting on the onions.

We cut down some more dead foliage in front of the school, pruned the rose bush and scraped and brushed the paths.

Then we had an Easter Egg hunt and shared all the eggs we found equally between us.

Thursday 22nd - Update

We planted more seeds - alyssum white and pink, peas, broad beans, sweet peas and sunflowers. We weeded the bed at the front of the school and planted 3 more heather plants, as well as 3 primulas round the flagpole. We also cut back the raspberries and brambles ready for new stems to grow for this year's crop.
